About the Author

Tara White is the daughter of  Mr. and Mrs. Andrew I.D. Harris. Happily married to Mr. Tito White with one daughter, Tianca Diane White. She is the sister of Aleashia Harris-Brandon. She is the President, and Executive Director of Quality Care Developmental Services Inc.- Residential Treatment Facilities for children.

Tara is a graduate of Livingstone College, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology in 1995, the same year she married  the ”Love of her Life” Mr. Tito White.

She thought she could marry him and live happily ever after… Yet, “Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive.” This poignant memoir showcases how her life mirrors and reflects the lives of others. It displays a common human theme: Choices: the good, the bad, and the indifferent of them.

She was awarded the Humanitarian award in 2007 from the W.G. Bill Hefner V.A. Medical Center for her work in the community with families and children.
